The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. It uses a timer to break work into intervals, traditionally 25 minutes long, separated by short breaks. Each interval is called a "Pomodoro" (Italian for tomato), named after the tomato-shaped kitchen timer Cirillo used as a student.
1. Choose a task you want to work on.
2. Set the timer to 25 minutes and click "Start".
3. Work focused on the task until the timer rings.
4. Take a 5-minute break to relax.
5. After completing four Pomodoros, take a longer break (15-30 minutes).
